Fatal Influence, the rising trio.
After snatching the Women’s Tag Team Championship from Brie Bella and Paige,
they are back to fight in a 6-Woman Tag Team match. Who is the third person on
Brie and Paige’s side? Of course, it’s Brie’s twin, the Fearless Nikki Bella.
Nikki returns from her injury hiatus and is ready to take down Fatal Influence
as proof that she is one superstar whose light has not faded.
A 6-Man Tag Team match is also scheduled for night one. The Bloodline, now reinforced by The Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu, will face the trio of Royce Keys, LA Knight, and their own brother, Solo Sikoa. Especially Solo. Even without the help of the MFT, this SummerSlam is a night of proof that he will still shine even if he’s not under the Bloodline’s wing or with MFT’s backing. For Knight and Keys, the Bloodline is just a troublemaking group that worships Roman Reigns, The Tribal Chief. They want to prove that the Bloodline is not above anyone.
The personal conflict between
Nick Aldis and The Ring General, Gunther, will end at SummerSlam. Nick is fed
up with Gunther’s complaints about his failure to capture the Undisputed WWE
Championship. Gunther blames Nick for everything. He believes Nick’s decisions
have been sidelining him to prevent him from winning that title. Nick has
agreed to take Gunther on in the ring at SummerSlam. Nick Aldis is not just any
General Manager. He is a former TNA World Champion and a former 2x TNA Tag Team
Champion.
The Queen of The Ring, Iyo Sky,
gets her chance to challenge WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. Judgment
Day is celebrating, because Rachel Rodriguez successfully captured the Women’s
Intercontinental Championship from Sol Ruca. Judgment Day’s mission is to
collect as many titles as possible. Out of the 5 members, only JD McDonagh and
Roxanne Perez have not gotten their gold yet. Of course, Judgment Day’s journey
is still long, and SummerSlam is the test for Liv to keep their gold in the
group.
Finally, the match that was
inevitable: CM Punk vs Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship. The two
have seemingly promised to meet one day for one of the highest titles in WWE.
Sami Zayn only got to enjoy the title briefly before CM Punk defeated him. Sami
is furious and is trying to become the number 1 contender again by facing Finn Balor on night two. Cody will not stop chasing this title, even if he has to
face CM Punk, his friend. Rumor has it that someone is lurking in the dark,
ready to strike from out of nowhere.
Two Behemoths will battle once
again inside Hell in a Cell. Oba Femi challenges Brock Lesnar in this structure
of destruction. This will be the climax of their feud. Oba is the future of
WWE, and that is what Brock Lesnar will test. Brock is at the tail end of his
career. Of course, he will end it beautifully by defeating the Ruler and
cementing himself as the irreplaceable Beast Incarnate.
