Synopsis:

"He's Watching You" (2026) is a horror thriller directed by Jordon Foss, with a runtime of 1 hour 42 minutes and an R rating. The film premiered on January 23, 2026.

The story follows Cameron, a teenager living in the small town named Page Hollow, whose normal life is disrupted by a series of brutal murders. Cameron discovers a mysterious VHS tape collection that may hold clues to the killer's identity.

This film stars: Jan Luis Castellanos, Tiana Lee, Elizabeth Yu, Vanessa Rubio and more.

In my opinion:

Another psychological thriller. I like unique and light thriller films, but this one again makes me think, "What's the story about?".

By the way, the title of the film appears at 34:25.

The Pill. Maybe I don't know, but I think this film is trying to create a new urban legend. I like the concept, "If you behave badly, then you need the medicine." The Pill is depicted as a figure with a red coat and a twisted mask. Then hunts down people who behave badly and kills them. Cool, I think.

With a cruel murder as intro, I was expecting a lot of brutality and tension in this film. But... again, I got a thriller movie that forces me to think.

The murder scenes are very good and realistic, but the story is not clear. What's The Pill's motive? What's the goal? Even at the end of the film, I think this is just an internal family problem. But that doesn't answer my confusion about this film (Oh God, am I stupid?).

The figure of The Pill seems less mysterious (because it's clear what's going to happen, it's a murder), so it doesn't create much tension.

It's too bad, The Pill could be a new figure in the thriller film world. Like Arty from The Terrifier franchise.

In terms of presentation, the film has many dark scenes, either at night or in a house with minimal lighting. But the camera movement isn't bad.

For me this one is 5.5/10.
