Synopsis:

"Skyscraper Live" (2026) is a live show on Netflix featuring Alex Honnold, an American free solo climber, as he attempts to climb Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world, without ropes or safety equipment. The show was broadcast live on January 25, 2026, and lasted for 117 minutes. In this show, Honnold attempts to climb the 101-story building, which has a unique design resembling stacked bamboo boxes. The show also features live commentary from hosts like Elle Duncan and Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, as well as clips of Honnold training and spending time with his family.

Reviews for Skyscraper Live (2026) are mixed. Some critics call it "jaw-dropping" and "engaging", while others feel the show is too monotonous. However, many praise Honnold's bravery and skill in climbing the building. Honnold successfully completed the climb in 1 hour 31 minutes, and was met with thunderous applause from the audience. The show also sparked discussions about safety and risks associated with free solo climbing.

In my opinion:

Wow.. Oh my God.. I'm truly speechless. Alex Honnold is not human, he's a meta-human!! How is it logically possible for him to climb the Taipei 101 building without any equipment? Just hands and feet? This guy is crazy! Alex Honnold is a legend in the climbing world. I admit this is my first time seeing him. He has achieved so much, conquering Half Dome (2008) and El Capitan (2017) in Yosemite National Park, Moonlight Buttress in Zion National Park (2008), and now the Taipei 101 Building.

His hand and foot strength is superhuman. How can human grip be that strong?? Even more astonishing, he makes it look EASY, yes, LOOK EASY. Because when I watched him climb, it seemed like there was no difficulty at all. This guy isn't afraid of heights, he ignores gravity and has god-level confidence haha.

I'm at a loss for words, this is an incredible show. It's undeniable history where a man named Alex Honnold has conquered one of the tallest buildings in the world, Taipei 101, WITHOUT any equipment. I'm sure no one can do it except him. Wunderbar!

For me this one is 9/10.
