Synopsis:

"Whisper in the Dark" (2025), directed by Pierre Levasseur, tells the story of Jeremy, a man suffering from agrophobia who lives alone in his apartment.

He is haunted by terrifying visions from his past and strives to overcome the trauma. Jeremy must face his fears and seek hope in the midst of darkness.

Whisper in the Dark is a tense and emotional film, with Pierre Levasseur successfully creating a dark and intense atmosphere.

The film takes us into Jeremy's world, full of trauma and fear that makes him unable to escape the terrifying shadows that haunt him.

The good acting effort and beautiful cinematography make the film even more captivating. However, some parts may feel a bit slow, and not all plot twists are surprising.

This film stars: Luca Colucci, James Anite, Alina Varakuta, Kevin Layne and more.

In my opinion:

I was drawn to the story, where Jeremy struggles to recover from his mental illness. The hallucinations that seem real truly disrupt his mind and social life.

Unfortunately, I felt the acting was a bit stiff. The expressions lacked soul, making the tension decrease. The dialogue tone was also lacking emphasis, making it feel like watching a soap opera.

Throughout the film, my curiosity was piqued. Unfortunately, the pace was too slow, making it potentially boring for those who are impatient. The plot twist was quite good, making me misguess the ending.

For me this one is 7/10.
