WrestleMania XLII Las Vegas (Night 2)

The grand stage of WrestleMania XLII Las Vegas has arrived. April 19, 2026, marks the second night of this event and will showcase the peak rivalries of WWE superstars in their careers. John Cena is still with us to host the biggest event in professional wrestling. On this second day of WrestleMania, four titles will be contested: the World Heavyweight Championship (held by CM Punk), the Intercontinental Championship (held by Penta), the United States Championship (held by Sami Zayn), and the Women’s Championship (held by Jade Cargill). A great night with an attendance of 55,256 people, this is one of the biggest WrestleManias ever.

CM Punk vs Roman Reign (World Heavyweight Champhionship).

Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi.

6-Pack Ladder Match: Penta vs Rey Mysterio vs Rusev vs JD McDonagh vs Je’Von Evans vs Dragon Lee (Intercontinental Championship).

Sami Zayn vs Trick Williams (US Championship).

Jade Cargill vs Rhea Ripley (Women’s Championship).

“Demon” Finn Balor vs Dominic Mysterio.

The final event of WrestleMania XLII has arrived. All eyes are on the emotional matches between “The Best in the World” CM Punk vs “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns and “The Beast” Brock Lesnar vs “The Ruler” Oba Femi. As shown in the promos leading up to this, Roman absolutely hates Punk and wants to finish him. Likewise, Punk is defending his pride and his legacy as one of the most celebrated superstars of the last decade.

The same goes for the match between “The Beast” Brock Lesnar and “The Ruler” Oba Femi. A clash between two Behemoths competing to prove who the real monster in WWE is. This match is extremely emotional for Brock Lesnar, because rumors say he will retire and this will be his last event as a professional wrestler. Any WWE fan knows how dominant Brock Lesnar has been from the beginning until now, but time keeps moving and this is the finish line for the “Beast Incarnate”.

Just as thrilling and breathtaking is the 6-Pack Ladder Match! Three of the wrestlers are incredible Lucha Libre stars: Penta and Dragon Lee, who represent the future of Lucha Libre and WWE, and then there’s Rey Mysterio, the Hall of Famer, The legend, who may also be having his final event. This match was extremely brutal — I watched it in disbelief at the endurance of their bodies. This is one of the greatest Ladder Matches in history. This event marks the return of The Demon Finn Bálor.

 Unfortunately, there were no major surprises on night two, except for Denhausen’s first moment at this event, which signals that WWE is ready to head toward a new future, greatness, variation, and definitely more entertaining. Thank you WWE, Thank you WrestleMania.
