Synopsis:

"F*ck Valentine's Day" (2026) is a romantic comedy film directed by Mark Gantt. The film is 1 hour 35 minutes long and was released on Netflix on February 6, 2026.

It tells the story of Gina, a woman who strongly dislikes Valentine's Day because it's also her birthday. When her boyfriend, Andrew, plans to propose on Valentine's Day, Gina feels pressured and decides to go to Greece to prevent the proposal.

In Greece, Gina meets Johnny, a man who becomes her new friend and helps her on her mission to stop Andrew's proposal. However, as time passes, Gina starts questioning her feelings about relationships and love.

Reviews for the film are mixed, with some critics praising Virginia Gardner's performance as Gina, while others criticize the plot for being too generic and unoriginal.

This film stars: Virginia Gardner, Skylar Astin, Jake Cannavale, Sabrina Bartlett, Marisa Tomei and more.

In my opinion:

You know what always happens in romantic drama films? Yes, the ending is predictable. That's why romantic dramas need another 'ingredient' to avoid being monotonous.

You know, this film has that 'ingredient' – comedy. At first, I thought I could predict the ending, but the story took a turn in the middle of the film. What's more, the change was caused by a character I thought was just a supporting role. Wow, this film is pretty good.

Love is like searching for a missing piece, and unexpectedly, that piece comes when you least expect it. I think that's the message this film conveys.

The visuals and cinematography are good, but for me, the audio is outstanding. The theme song is also pleasant to listen to and fits the film well. I shouldn't forget to mention the performances of the actors, especially senior actresses like Marisa Tomei.

I say this is one of the unique romantic comedy dramas. Don't miss it if you're a fan of the genre.

For me this one is 7.5/10.
